Hello! I am having a problem with the forum in general, not a specific device repair. I am sorry if this is not the correct place to post about this!

My problem is quite simple: I got an e-mail that someone replied to one thread which I follow, but when I click the link to go to it, I get a message which says "To download from Badcaps you must register and verify your email address. Upon registration it may take a few minutes for the verification email to arrive. If you do not see it please check your spam folder. For assistance contact support@badcaps.net". I have clicked the link sent to my e-mail when I registered: Is there something else I need to do?

Also, if I open the threat manually, I cannot see the message at all.

HP Pavilion 15 bc400ns - Complete Black Screen - Only video on live usb

Hello everybody!

To put you in context I recently replaced the battery from my HP Pavilion 15 bc400ns with a used one, everything was going good. The same day, I decided to update the BIOS, everything went good. The thing occurred after I let the battery drain iddling on Windows 11 for the second time to calibrate it that the screen did not turn on again, the computer was on but the screen did not turn, like it would not wake from hibernation. I decided to restart the computer but got no video.

The thing is that I had installed TeamViewer and could log into the computer...

Need Help Restoring BIOS and MAC Address for HP ProDesk 600 G1 SFF

Hello,

I'm currently dealing with a BIOS corruption issue on my HP ProDesk 600 G1 SFF desktop PC.

After the BIOS got corrupted, my PC was showing no display, and I had to take it to a repair shop where the technician removed the BIOS chip from the motherboard and installed a BIOS I provided from a file I downloaded from the official HP website.

While the display issue was fixed and the system is powering up again, there's one major problem: the Ethernet MAC address is now showing as FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF, indicating that it's been wiped or corrupted as well....

Please some one out there how to use NOR Modifier to change Mac address on a good working Bios file from the old corrupt bios file on PS5 ?. Clear under standing how to.

How to find MAC ADDRESS, UUID and MB/SN from previous dump of this mobo's bios?
I am guessing I need to add those in the new bin file.
also where can I find those on the physical motherboard(no box)

Hi, everyone!

I've recently acquired two brand new SPI chips to replace the one currently in my Acer A514-54G laptop MB (FH5AT LA-K092P). The reason why I'm replacing the current SPI chip is because I had some difficulties with a third-party IT assistant who pretty much lacked the soldering skills and ended up destroying the current SPI chip soldered to my MB from factory.

I've decided to do this on my own because I spent the past month or so learning some soldering skills and BIOS modding through Badcaps and WinRaid forums, hence the attempt. I've also chosen to buy...
