    Glad you liked it.
Well, the post looked a little better in its original form, which the new forum software seems to have buggered up a little (especially the smileys and the pictures)... but the information is still there, I suppose.

For those Nichicon VR "470uF" 350V caps you linked, you have the wrong parts - these are 470nF (nanoFarads) capacitors at 350V instead of 470 uF (microFarads). That's smaller by a factor of 1000x. Otherwise 470 uF caps at 350V would be huge - bigger than the 330 uF 200V caps you have on the primary side. So those replacements you found won't do.

    The rest looks OK.

Here's another hint: if you copy the part number for each cap, let's say for the Rubycon YXJ 10V 2200 uF caps (part number 10YXJ2200M10X20), take that and paste it into Google... or whatever other search engine you prefer. You should now also get links for Digikey, Mouser, and other similar websites that stock this part. That's because this part number is the manufacturer's part number, and it's universal for all part supplier sites.
Hint #2: To make searches in Digikey easier, you can search by directly typing something like "Rubycon YXJ" to see all of the caps available from that series.

      RTX 3080 FE Identifying capacitor
      by Prolog
Hi people, I hope this is the correct spot to post this, I'm new to the forum.

I have an RTX 3080 Founders Edition which has a burnt up capacitor (it was in parallel with another capacitor which appears damaged too), so I am hoping to be able to identify the capacitor values and order replacements.

I hope these photos make it clear which component I am referring to:
(yes, the soldering is a bit botched from removing the blown one, I know)

I have found the board schematic (attached), but there does not seem to be a boardview available. I have never...

Help to identify a laptop mainboard SMD capacitor LA-9982P
      by BlackBurn
      Hello everyone,

I have an Dell Inspiron 15 3537 laptop mainboard (LA-9982P Rev. 3.0 (A02)) with a blown SMD capacitor as shown in the attached images. However, there is no printed specifications near the capacitor or a codename for the capacitor to identify the specification of the capacitor to replace it. I wonder how to identify the capacitor since the mainboard schematics are also useless as the capacitors are not named on the board. Any help would be highly appreciated.

      Thank You. Stay Safe.

Help identifying missing smd capacitor for HP elitebook 840 g3
      by Ambro
In an unfortunate mishap while attempting to read from the bios chip, one of the smd capacitors took flight and disappeared.

I'm not sure how crucial this smd capacitor is, but it was a brown possibly ceramic one with no notable markings on it anywhere.

I've attached a picture of where it's located on the board.

Does anyone have an HP elitebook 840 g3 who might be able to aid me identifying this component. I'm not sure how crucial it is, but didn't want to risk it.

Thank you for any help you can provide....

Need Help Identifying Capacitor On Kar-Tech Versa Remote
      by grimacelord
      Hello,

I have sort of a weird one here. This is the circuit board for a Kar-Tech VERSA remote. It's a wireless transmitter for crane and other heavy equipment.

One of the capacitors have blown and I need help finding a replacement. The capacitors are 11.4mm x 6.6mm in size and the only imprint on them is "200mΩF", which I am assuming means 200 microfarads. There is no other markings on them. I have tried doing some searching on digikey and mouser, but I can't seem to find anything like this on there or I am inputting the wrong search parameters....

PS5 Edm-010 No Power - Help identifying missing capacitor
      by krob80
Hey everyone. I recently acquired a PS5 that is not turning on (no beep/power). PSU is good and there is no shorting on the 12V rail.
It came with a Gen3 SSD installed so I feel that things went down hill for the previous owner when it was installed. F7003 was blown but there was nothing shorting to ground. I replaced the fuse but still no power (new fuse is still good for now).
When connecting it to a bench power supply, it only pulls 10 mA (doesn't spike when first connected).
I noticed that there are a couple capacitors missing from the Vcore power regulator (pictures attached)....
