    Need Help for the Experts

Well needless to say I am a complete newbie to this type of stuff. I am a metal fabricator and my plasma cutter decided to explode. Upon further inspection I found that one of the capacitors had blown up. The Unit literally jumped off the ground about a foot when this happened. As I said I know nothing about capacitors, etc. . I looked through the FAQ and had a hard time trying to grasp what type these are and where I can find new ones.

I really need help finding replacements as the manufacturer of the product is being unresponsive.

Please help point me in the right direction

Measure the diameter and height. Then select one of the Panasonics that will fit from digikey below. Shipping will cost around $3 USD and you should get the cap in 2 to 3 days.

If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.

We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.

Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

      For BGA reflow experts...
      by Davi.p
I have attempted all sumed very few reflow processes, and i need to make it better, how do you make yours to have sureness that the balls are really fully reflowed? My temptation was always to do "the slight move" touching very gently an angle, but due to some cases, but maybe 100%, where the previously half working device became totally shut off, i finally understood that the damn "move" makes the balls shorted, so what do you suggest?
      Thanks!.. Muchas gracias.....

      Cooling experts wanted.... (with pictures)
      by SluggerB
So if you have been following my urine odor saga with my new PC, I believe I finally found out what is happening, my Northbridge heatsink is getting quite toasty, and other people online with my motherboard say the VRM's get hot as well. That may be the source of the odor I am smelling.

      Current setup
The case has 3 fan openings, a 120mm front, a 120mm side, and a 92mm rear. Currently the only fan installed is the 120mm front. The CPU cooler has a side mounted 92mm fan on it (and that cooler is very cool, CPU temps are great). The only exhaust is from the PSU

Sony experts? 2nd bricked BAT Board after firmware update KDL-55EX720
      by thesteve
So I bought another main board from eBay and the same thing happened.

I got the firmware file from the Sony website. My model was listed and everything matched.

      sony_tvupdate_2011_4027_aaa_auth.zip was the file.

      Extracted to a folder: "sony_dtv0FA10A01A0A1_00000301"
      with file: 00000301_07e8046a.bin inside.

Loaded it into the root of an otherwise empty USB thumbnail bought from around the same time as the TV. Not too old, not too new.. under 2Gig.

The file reads perfectly. Lots of "disk activity"...

Greetings, esteemed experts. Unfortunately, I couldn't clear the 13th generation BIOS file. I'd like to thank the experts who helped me with this.

The device displays a delayed image and receives a warning that a corrupt BIOS has been detected. The HP BIOS recovery option is not available. Could you please repair the BIOS?
