Just fixed a really nice FIC MicroATX board with ATI chipset (was bad crystal). There is a mix of caps - they probably used all good brands - Nichicon, Rubycon, Sanyo, Panasonic and UCC. The only thing that worries me are the Nichicon HM(M) caps with H0335 datecode. Does anyone know if they're affected or not? They seem OK as the board was probably not used at all, just laying somewhere.

Which Nichicon HM(M) and HN(M) date codes are affected?

Re: Which Nichicon HM(M) and HN(M) date codes are affected?
Bumping this old thread
Saw some industrial systems at work now
We looked at two machines, and just assumed that since those had bloated caps the older one must have too
Well popped the lid on it now but it's Nichicon HM(M) caps where just fine, datecode 0213
Was it only one line or shift of several at Nichicon that produced the overfilled caps?
Is there any known date range that is confirmed by Nichicon for the problems?"The one who says it cannot be done should never interrupt the one who is doing it."

There's a thread for collecting bad date codes on these:
