Re: help me find caps plz?
I emailed for assistance last week, and still haven't heard back. Trying to identify these caps. Silver Barrell, with a black mark on the right; it says "4 7", then below that "220", then below that "3 5 A". Any clues? I think they are Panasonic, but I am not an expert Cap reader. They are in a Toshiba Satellite laptop that powers off randomly ... Definitely POPPED.
BAD CAPS!

Re: help me find caps plz?
Thank you - didn't mean to offend with the email comment. Was merely implying I emailed for assisstance already, and got no reply. If you look at a side view of the two capacitors, you can clearly see the upward popcorn effect. Your link is to a perfect match, except the designation of "47" on mine. I am assuming it most closely resembles the CE-AX 220 / 8X10.2 / .17 / 450. Am I correct?? What exactly does the "47" mean? After removing the two bad caps, I also found two small black units with 8 leads each surface soldered that are burnt. No way to identify those ...
Thanx for everything
Chris

Re: help me find caps plz?
the 47 is probably a date code/lot number.
there is only one choice in 220uf 35v so you are correct above.
i dont see those caps bulging in the photo but i will take your word for it.
