Are these bad or just installed poorly installed.

    Are these bad or just installed poorly installed.

    I'm speaking of the small black Ketuo 6.3v 470uf caps. this small thermostat has 5 of them
    and they are all slightly leaning. The larger caps in the background were just replaced due to leakage.




    On another note I'm having a hard time tracking down ones of the same physical size to
    replace them with just in case they are failing. I checked digikey and Mouser with no luck.
    They seem to be around 6mm in width and 8mm tall but due to the confined space I think
    10 mm is the tallest that will fit.
    The closest I have found is here but brand unknown..

    Just a thought - would there be room to lay the replacement capacitor on it's side similar to the large ones? This would allow you to get a larger capacitor to fit. Unfortunately it's hard to find non-standard sizes in good brands.

      Three of them maybe, but the other two definitely not.
