    I don't doubt that but as you can see in the photo it wasn't polarized wrong.
    Factory installed cap on a board with a year or two of use on it.
    Quite sure it was just a random blooper.

          You should see a 1 farad wired incorrectly. Black goo everywhere inside a Saab. One of the best installers I ever knew did it, was in a hurry.
