    Renesas H8S/2112 R4F2112 R4F2112R - 16-Bit Single-Chip Microcomputer Datasheet
    H8S Family / H8S/2100 Series

    Ordering codes:
    F2112TE25V F2112BG25V F2112LP25V

The core of each product in the H8S/2112 Group of CISC (complex instruction set computer) microcomputers is an H8S/2000 CPU, which has an internal 16-bit architecture. The H8S/2000
CPU provides upward-compatibility with the CPUs of other Renesas Technology-original microcomputers: H8/300, H8/300H, and H8S.

As peripheral functions, each LSI of the group includes a serial communication interface with FIFO, an I2C bus interface, an A/D converter, and various types of timers. Together, the modules realize low-cost system configurations. The power consumption of these modules is kept down dynamically by power-down modes. The on-chip ROM is a flash memory (F-ZTATTM) with a capacity of 96 Kbytes.

    Applications
Examples of the applications of this LSI include PC peripheral equipment, office automation equipment, and industrial equipment.

PS4 slim SAD-001 board - how to tell the Renesas ic is bad?
    by supravit2000
Hi, folks! I am not pro, just watch videos and try to find the error - sometimes it works.

So I have been sold a ps4 with no hdd which should only be replaced. The machine boots up to safe mode and after assembling a new ssd, the update process returns an error su-42118-6 (sometimes SU-41333-4) which after some research, I found out that the console is for the bin as the renesas ic must be bad. The bd drive indeed shows no signs of working order (the button for eject still beeps, though, but a cd is not accepted at all). All the fuses on the board are fine, so are the caps/resistors....

RCBS Chargemaster 1500 scale & powder dispenser
    by TortureGarden
    Good morning all.

I have an RCBS Chargemaster 1500 combo electronic scale/powder dispenser that I have been using without issue for 15 years or more. I powered her up to do some reloading the other week and the LCD panel backlight & characters lit-up and then immediately, the characters faded-out, leaving just the backlight illuminated. I thought it may have been a one-off so, I tested again (and again...), with the same result.

I separated the scale from the dispenser and disassembled the scale. Nothing obvious observed that could be causing the issue, caps look...

    HELP programming microcontroller
    by huzo
    Hello guys,

we have a SAF-XC167CI-32F40F BB-A 16bit controller, and we are trying to extract the eeprom from it using jtag, because serial port doesn't work on it for some reason, the programmer detects the chip, one pin needs to be pulled down and it opens the communication, but asks for .dbl file , and i can't find it anywhere...there are a lot of 8bit and 32 bit .dbl files, but a few 16bit...

i am not that much experienced in that kind of controllers, so any help would be apreciated.
