I recive from a friend an Airis lcd monitor ( rebranded Olivetti ) model m143b.
I turn on and afther 2 second it goes off...
I opened the monitor, but I didn't see any bad cap.
    Any clue?

2 seconds to black can be

    a) bad caps
    b) bad ccfls
    c) bad ccfl wiring
    d) bad secondary winding on the inverter transformer

Unusual for primary to go - usually secondary that fails- did you re-check after taking it off the board

              Re: Airis lcd monitor m143b

Look at connector CN302 as shown in detail #1 photo. The inside of that connector looks like it has carbon tracking (burn marks).

Check that connector and its mate going to the ccfl. Carbon tracking is conductive.
IMO, that connector went bad (loose connection) and took out the transformer.
Stupidity should be a crime, especially for drivers. I have NO patience for them.

Same goes for cn03 , however there is no scorching to the bottom of the board so I decided it was part of his labelling system. Or marked and rubbed off. Anyway as delaware says check the plugs as well to eliminate this as a problem.

Thanks to all for the information gaven

Finally, I recive yesterday the inverter transformer.
                  Mounted and...
                  Ok it works!!!!!

@delaware74b, selldoor: the marks on the connector are maded by a marking pen ( sorry for the blurry photos ).

Testing, I have noticed a light "flickering" of the lights.
                  What I can check?

                  Thanks, Flip971.

See if the big filter capacitor has stable DC voltage. Do the same for all other voltages. If they are fluctuating, it could be causing the flickering?

I found the same bad transformer (an IPT-1820-A-GP) on my Toshiba LCD on board IVA-1904A. Anyone know of a USA source for a replacement transformer? Internet search resulted in the board "sold out" or out of stock at many sites.

                        Thanks,
