Toshiba Satellite L775D internal LCD flashes white, no boot.

Hello,
I have a Toshiba Satellite L775D that won't work with the internal LCD. HDMI and VGA works fine, but if I have just the internal LCD connected, it just flashes black and white rapidly. Tried a different (used) board and it does the same. LCD model is lp173wd1. Could it be the LCD is shorting the board and how do I test it?

I mean, is there another way to test it because I don't want to spend money on a screen if it's not the solution.

You could ohm out the cable to check there are no shorts or breaks
