Looks like Gamma Voltage problem or the screen model does not match the main board, you will have to go into service menu mode to see if the LCD panel number match what is shown in the service menu. Notes: I do not remember how get into service mode in TOSHIBA TV.

yea was just looking to see if it used a as15-s or equiv but it don't so looks like you could be right about panel selection just looking through service manual now but that don't seem much help.

Does the service manual tell you how to get into ON SERVICE MEN MODE? You will probably need the original remote to enter the code to get into service mode.

                        Re: Toshiba 32av713b1

while I was trying to access service menu the screen froze and the set shut down, so unplugged it and set had reverted back to its orig fault of no sign of life but 5-12-24v all present at power supply.
I resoldered u104 (3.3v reg that supplies dvdd3v3 that pwrs eprom) and replaced c117 (470uf 10v) both capacitance and esr checked ok but changed anyway. Refitted orig eprom (u609) and set now powers up with good picture.
will leave it on test and see how it behaves.

re soldering u104 was the main fault, orig NVM had its ready written set register and values you are done but remain some side effect, as you need to check and try signal from all sources ... good work

does heating the area of the bga make the tv start?

will try that later, the eprom is only about an inch away on the opposite side of the board. going to dump eprom to I think.

right I have dumped the eprom (u609) fitted a blank and power led flashing green, removed and refitted orig and reflowed nand and ram chips, set now powers up again and is working, will leave on test and see.
I have attatch dump of the origenal u609 not sure if it is a good dump as set seems buggy but this may or maybe not down to the dump but the set powers up and runs with it.

still not working, the fault seems to be occurring more often now, from cold fault there, warmed scaler ic u401 (mt5363efcg) and set powered up.
Removed heatsink and just reflowed the bga chip, resoldered heatsink back and set back on test.
If this don't work I think It will be a scrapper....
