I get No standby light on tv, and backlight does Not come on with logic board term CN802 disconnected. Im get voltage readings but None at all on CN802 terminal pins.

My component level knowledge is basic, so this will be a lession for me. I id the transistor pins G D S from schematic but got diff readings reversing polarity, idk which polarity is relavant so i took both directions.

Any advice on which direction i should research into first based on the symptom issues is appreciated,...

Do my specs look suspect? I dont know how he tested them, im just using a mutimeter ohms diode setting.. and keep in mined my components are still in circuit, i need to acquire a soldering iron.

I just tested each LED in both strips and they all test at about 730-735 in diode mode.

The board didn't let me edit the previous post, so here it is:

First chip:
S1->G1 = ~1840 ohms
S1->D1 = ~1660 ohms
G1->D1 = infinite

S2->G2 = ~700 ohms
S2->D2 = ~550 ohms
G2->D2 = ~1350 ohms


Second chip:
S1->G1 = ~1840 ohms
S1->D1 = ~1660 ohms
G1->D1 = infinite

S2->G2 = ~730 ohms
S2->D2 = ~550 ohms
G2->D2 = ~1380 ohms

Not always true. I have two Samsung units, one 171P which is Silver, and the other one is a 173S which is black. The 730B & 172N are Samsungs in color black but only the 730 has the B.
As you said, often, but every manufacturer name as they wish. An example are the Dell 171FPb... Free of Plumbum, which translates as Lead (Pb) free : it has the B but not for the above noted reason.
