can someone help me the GPU ram is shorted i wanna convert this to UMA coz amd A6 has integrated graphics.
but i dont know how to covert this. i tried removing coils in gpu rail and gpu ram the short is gone but it doesn't display.

Hi guys. I've used the forum a lot but never asked questions before. I had a Lenovo come in that was shorted on the 20V rail. I fixed that and thought my job was done until I realized it wasn't charging the battery. Here is what I've checked so far

On the BQ24780SRUYR charging ic
VCC 20V
SMBUS lines
SDA 3.3V
SCL 3.3V
Current Sensing lines
ACP/ACN 2.3 ohms
SRP/SRN 21.2 ohms
REGEN line 6V
PHASE .84V with no battery installed(this may be normal)

Hello,

I have a Lenovo ideapad 320-15IKB. (DG42A DG52A NMB244 Rev:1.0 PN:5B20N96152 The board has an Intel Core i5 7th gen CPU.)

I connect the power supply, have 20V at some ceramic capacitors near the coils on the picture, but 0V on any coil. When measuring the resistance between the coils and ground, PL401 measures 0R. All the other coils measure at least 10R.
PU401 is a Silergy SY8286BRAC as far as I see.

What shall I do next? Shall I measure the exact resistance between some parts, e.g. capacitors or chips to ground? I have a 6 1/2 digit DMM, but...
