I'm seeking to unlock a 860 G10. I do have a ch programmer and wson8 adapters. I also have experience corebooting my ThinkPad t440p and thus using flashrom and handling bios dumps.
Are there any guides available for the G10 regarding chip locations and tools / strings required for unlocking?

I am trying to unlock it, did all modifications in main bios to put it in MPM mode, after writing new bios at 1st boot it appears a message:
"Bios Identity Data Recovered
The Bios has recovered its identity data from Embedded Controller due to data mismatch"
and it won't start in MPM Mode. Someone please help me to disable this "Bios Identity Data Recovery", I don't have a clue where it is.

hello i am having a issue with my hp elitebook 840 g10, i try to enter bios and its set with a password on bios itself, so im unable to reset to factory defaults through bios its just immidiate prompt for password with no other options on screen. bought it on ebay a couple months back and just been stuck with it. luckily it was reset so i was able to install windows and stuff. but im unable to enter bios and that bugs me in case i want to set up other boot orders and such. i believe it was a work computer someone sold on ebay, and never got a reply back from seller for any info unfortunately....
