Ok Im really stuck here guys can anyone help me with this board ? I tried 6 different Bios Files some dont turn it on some turn it on without display but mostly its the laptop powering on without POST and the fan going haywire does anyone have a good BIOS file i can try ?

Unfortunately I can no longer install Windows 10 or 11 but only Linux and I saw that it has an old bios version. I downloaded the bios from the official website but since the operating system is not installed I cannot update it. I therefore wanted to do it directly on the chip but the downloaded one has a different size as always.

my notebook arrived without the ssd mounted so I don't see if it loads the operating system.

Yeah, this worthless design really sucks, had it plenty of times already on multiple Acer models with the small needlepin connector.

These are the only cases, where I never replace the jack - but bridge both sides to ground because I see absolutely zero point in this design....

I just got trolled by one of these with no power. Getting 0V on ACDET for the BQ24780S charger IC, hence first MOSFET not being opened etc. The voltage divider resistors were both ok, 19V on the top of the first one, and the BQ IC was also blameless. Why 0V for ACDET?!

So thankfully the schematic provided here revealed all. The DC jack has a 2nd connection called ADP_ID (which I think provides that tiny click when you fully insert the adaptor). There is a FET PQ7 which is normally biased on by PR60/67 and will thus ground ACDET to...
