Thanks for the quick reply, the bios file has got the laptop back up and running, Ive put the DMI and windows key in the correct addresses and written it back to the chip and installed. On bootup i get a message telling me the manufacturer state is in unlock mode.
Any idea how to remove this please
Thanks again for your time

Thanks for the replies and bios fix, I tried the Windows UEFI firmware method but got the same result. I am getting verification errors after writing back to the chip. It said the write was successful but failed verification. I think it's the bios chip that's failing/failed...
I should have a replacement at work, so I will try writing bios to another chip tomorrow.

Hi Guys
Trying to repair Lenovo 330s-14AST Model ID:81F8, it is refusing to go into the bios setting or Boot menu. When pressing the recessed Novo button it gives options to enter the Bios/boot menu or recovery menu. Choosing any one of these options restarts the laptop back to Windows. I've tried removing the main battery and CMOS battery, as well as the hard drive and even the keyboard ribbon cable.
I need into the bios/or boot menu to run the Windows installer
I think it is a corrupt bios, can anyone redo the bios with the laptop EC and serial number, etc from the dumped...

Hi Guys
Trying to repair a Lenovo Ideapad3 Model 15IAU7. Getting power light bit no signs of life. I can feel the CPU heating but, But no display or fan spin. Hoping it's just a corrupt bios. There are 2 chips on the motherboard, i usually desolder the wrong one first lol... so i went for the bigger capacity one this time.
Ive attached th bios file which was read ad verified after removal from the motherboard. I would be greatful if someone mor knowlegable than me can take a look and repair or possible supply a clean image. also advise if i need to add in any blocks for serila...
