Re: Problem flashing graphic card bios with spi programmer
mmm, i've already run detect on the chip on asprogrammer and neo programmer. i'm using ch341 as interface.
click read and click save.
The size of saved .bin file is 256kb. and size of tpu .rom file is different for the exact card.
When i tried to flash it, it show error "Verification error on address: 00000004"...

Problem flashing graphic card bios with spi programmer
Hello..
i've bricked my old msi 670 card, due to interrupt power while flashing.
So i want to reflash it again with ch341 spi programmer.
The source of large collection of bios is from tech powerup.
The problem is, even i've already found the spesific bios for my card, the size of file from tpu is different from the bios size.
tpu: 96kb
file size from spi programmer: 256kb
What is the difference between both of file?
Because while i was tried to flash it with as programmer, it cause "error writing"...

Re: Psu directly turn on after plug cable to the wall (acbel e2470)
Yep, that's the first thing that i was check even before opening the box.
Black and green wire absolutely not shorted.
but, if psu turn automatically when plugged without connect green-black wire, i was notice there no PG signal.
But if i connect green and black wire, PG signal exist.
Actually this psu is pretty decent for office use.
Far from fireworks psu.
Acbel make their own psu, not from codegen or other else....Last edited by Quaddro; 01-09-2021, 01:37 PM.

Psu directly turn on after plug cable to the wall (acbel e2470)
Hello..
I've got a old nice psu from my friend.
Acbel e2 power 470
But this psu rather weird, do something that i've never seen before.
This one automatically turn-on (without connect the green and black wire), after i plug the power cable to the wall.
Sooo.. there's no faulty in primary and secondary.. right?
For the first, i guess maybe faulty supervisor.
So i was replace the supervisor ic (wt7257) with the working one.
No good..
After i replace *ALL* the ic(s), transistors, 431, optocoupler,...

Re: Need Help Thermaltake Litepower 500W Problem
Question:
1. After you replace all the broken/shorted components, have you tried to running it without ac line light bulb?
2. After you test it with direct line from ac outlet, try to jump start it.
Is the fan twitching..?
If it's not.. then problem is in (mostly) primary site.
If it's twitch.. that's mean everything in primary site is working, the problem is in secondary.
This psu is identical with enermax naxn 500..
i have repaired few of that psu.
And according...

Re: Corsair vs650 random power off / reboot
random restart, according to my experience, due to faulty pwm chip in secondary.
https://easyload.io/f/mWXnR5ErXO/V_I_D_20200508_214100_680_mp4
Just replace the sitronix ic, st92429 pin 14 or with the equivalent wt7525 pin 14Re: Corsair vs650 random power off /...c, st92429 pin

Re: Mosfet Replacement Compatibility - Corsair 600gs v2
Physical size is not a problem. slightly bending pin here and there, it will fit.
What kind of characteristic is different between CEF04N7G and K2611/9N90?
Would you point it?
For some learning to me..
Or any substitution for CEF04N7G that will work?...

Mosfet Replacement Compatibility - Corsair 600gs v2
Hello.. i have a dead psu from my friend.
Corsair GS600 v2.
Pretty decent psu with dc-dc converter in secondary rail.
Typical dead of 5vsb rail.
i found the culprit..
Shorted 5vsb mosfet, CEF04N7G, and a few resistor open due to shorted mosfet.
Unfortunately, i cant find replacement here (indonesia)
CEF04N7G is 700v n channel mosfet
Can i replace it with other mosfet?
Maybe with toshiba k2611 or 9n90?
k2611 and 9n90 is 900v n channel mosfet and maybe sama characteristic.
i do hope anyone...Last edited by Quaddro; 02-05-2020, 01:30 PM.

Re: Corsair Gs 600 Gaming Series PSU help
Voltage out of range is little bit tricky.
it can be raise fail resistor in secondary side, and/or bad capacitor.
But i suggest, you follow momaka trick.
Use hair dryer to capacitor, and look the voltage.
If the voltage became normal after heated, the it must be capacitor.
If it's not, then try to check all resistor value include smd....

Re: Corsair Gs 600 Gaming Series PSU help
if we assume you meter is accurate, that voltage is wayyy to high and risking your hardware.
Max voltage allowed is 5% for each rail.
Just buy or borrow other multimeter from your friend or somebody to make sure....

Re: Corsair Gs 600 Gaming Series PSU help. Success. Done.
purple (5vsb rail) should be 5v, red (5v rail) should be 5v and orange (3.3v rail) should be 3.3v. ...

Re: Seasonic X-560 and Corsair AX650 - fail to power on after a week of use
According to my experience, around 300 celcius, 1 minute for each section.
While heating the ic and/or smd, try to turn on and off psu (connect/disconect green and black cables) until the psu working.
Put some load, like old hdd or anything that can act as load.
the section while psu working, is the main focus to reheat, 3 minutes is enough.
