Hello everyone, my name is Patrick. I’m based in San Antonio and I’m always working on something hands-on, technical, or creative. I tend to dive deep into whatever project I take on. Over the years that has pulled me into electronics, IP cameras, NVR firmware, UART and hardware debugging, home automation, and smart-tech builds. I enjoy figuring out how things work, improving them, and helping others troubleshoot along the way.
Away from the bench, I’m also into home theater design and audio. I like comparing gear, dialing in speaker setups, and getting the most out of receivers, speakers, and room layouts. At home I’m usually juggling a mix of DIY projects: building smart door systems, tuning a home media setup, exploring Raspberry Pi ideas, or refining my lawn and landscaping approach in the Texas heat.
Professionally I manage multiple automotive service locations, which keeps me focused on leadership, operations, and performance. Outside of work, I flip and resell gear as a side hobby. I love the hunt for good finds and the challenge of restoring or optimizing items to give them new life.
When I’m not buried in a project, I’m usually fishing along the Texas coast, experimenting with no-frills photography, or working on something for fun just to see what I can learn from it.
I’m glad to be here and looking forward to connecting, sharing knowledge, and learning from everyone. If you’re into tech, electronics, audio, DIY builds, or anything hands-on, I’m always down to talk shop.
