Hello all, I'm a 42 year old bloomer as people keep calling me. I like to tinker and repair things but I have no education or background in it. I'm just not afraid to dig in and try to fix stuff. I've repaired several TVs for friends and now I'm working on one for myself. Hoping to pick some brains on where to go forward with my project. Hopefully this will provide a knowledge center for future projects tooThanks for letting me join and I look forward to some tinkering fun.

"Hello everyone,
I’m new to BadCaps and eager to learn more about electronics repair, especially capacitor-related issues. I’ve been exploring the forum and find the discussions incredibly helpful.
As a beginner, I’d love to contribute but want to make sure I follow the correct steps. Could someone guide me on how to participate effectively? Also, how can I gain full access to threads and attachments?
Thank you for your time—I really appreciate this community’s expertise!"☺Comment

Hey everyone,
Just joined the forum and wanted to say hello! I’ve always enjoyed taking things apart, troubleshooting, and fixing electronics instead of tossing them. I came across Badcaps.net while looking for repair info and thought this would be a great place to learn more, share experiences, and pick up some new skills.
My main interests are motherboards, audio video circuits, laptops, power supplies, etc.], but I’m always curious about any kind of electronics repair challenge. I’m hoping to both learn from the community and eventually contribute back once I get more experience.
Looking forward to chatting with you all and keeping more gear out of the landfill.
Cheers,
