Hello everyone! My name is Zakk. I am certified and a professional but aside from hands on and a lot of online certifying programs, I have only formal schooling in Automotive Technology. Just talented with electronics and enjoy working with software/hardware. I started my professional life as an electrician for a couple years. Later helped a friend start a low volt security company. These days, I am an entrepreneur with an IT business that services everything from networks to hardware. One day hope to be designing these for a living.Comment

Hi,
My name is Matt. I’m brand new to this forum, and it looks like a great resource! I’m an elevator technician with hobby level interest in home audio electronics repair. Hope to learn a lot and have a good experience here. I’m pretty good at troubleshooting electronics, and quite experienced troubleshooting a wide variety of elevators and escalators mechanically and electrically including the high voltage power and low voltage logic systems of this type of equipment.
CheersComment

In the world of computers, there is a 40+-year-old man who has been passionate about technology his entire life. My first introduction to the digital world was with the iconic Philips P2000T, a computer that laid the foundation for my lifelong fascination.
I am fluent in the BASIC programming language, a skill I enjoy using. In the world of sound, the Gravis Ultrasound was my favorite sound card, especially in combination with FastTracker, a program that allowed me to create the most amazing music.
My experience with operating systems is broad: I have worked with Mac, Windows and Linux. While I appreciate the versatility of all three, I prefer Linux because of its open source nature and the flexibility it offers.
But my passion goes beyond computers and operating systems. I am a fervent lover of automation and everything that comes with it.Comment

My name is Niklas. I recently started participating in a semiweekly repair cafe event. And surprise, surprise, people bring broken laptops 😀
So I stumbled upon this forum, looking for (and finding!) schematics of a yoga 370.
I expect to be looking for a lot more in the future, and hopefully safe a few more devices from becoming trash.Comment
