Hi, bought an HP Omen 17 from a friend which had a BIOS password. Removed that during first setup foray only to by stumped by an Administrator password . Could not boot due to this. So went through the CH341A process. Now have access to BIOS and installed new OS. Now just want to learn how to update the missing BIOS variables from using the default factory bin. Missing all data local to this laptop.Comment

I confess, I have already downloaded several files but did not post a greeting, I was shocked that I managed to fix 3060 12GB by literally soldering off one detail. Next up is the Z390 motherboard, bought for the price of garbage. I have already found the scheme and the boardview, I hope to win this lottery. Good luck to me and thanks to this forum.Comment

Hello, all. Name's Tim. Been an amateur technician since 8 years old but first time actually getting professionally serious about this kind of thing. Honestly just signed up because I needed a laptop motherboard schematic for a Dell Latitude 7490 and can't download the file without first signing up, introducing myself, etc...
Current desktop build is... nonexistent although my amazing wife scored me a load of free computer parts so I could hobble together a desktop for our son. second gen i7 processor, 2x4GB DDR3 RAM of unknown frequency.
Current laptop is the MSI Thin GF63 (my wife likes to make the joke that my "Thin GF" is thicc and it makes me giggle every time) but i upgraded from the original 500GB m.2 to a 2TB they had on sale at the Walmart I got this unit from. It was on clearance and it was also the last day it was in-store before they were about to ship it back to the warehouse so being friends with the Team Lead in electronics over there, he threw an additional discount on it just so he didn't have to send it back to the warehouse because the more units you send back, the worse it looks to corporate. Lol, I guess it was my lucky day.
So, that being said, I'm going to go download that boardview now because I'm on a time crunch to get this laptop working for her.Comment

Hello everyone:
I graduated in Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering over 10 years ago. I started working in a cellphone repair shop two years after graduating. Over time, I acquired my own tools and developed an interest in laptop repairs as well.
I am married, have one child, and I'm from Cuba. I work independently at home, where I have my workshop.
Badcaps has been a very good platform for finding solutions to various laptop repairs, for which I am very grateful.
Right now i am working in this laptop LENOVO V14-IGL V15IGL GV452 GV552
Thank you very much!Comment

I enjoy working on repair projects as a hobby. Whenever something breaks, I like to figure out how to fix it rather than immediately replacing it. I’m always tinkering with electronics, appliances, and even some basic furniture repairs. There’s something incredibly satisfying about troubleshooting, solving problems, and bringing things back to life. Over the years, I've learned a lot about how different things work, and I love the sense of accomplishment that comes with each successful repair.Comment

I own my own repair shop in phoenix, I have been fixing various electronic items for about a year, and modifying my electronics much longer than that. Other than that not much else to say. First video game console was a genesis, first mod done on a console was a RGB scart mod for a Nintendo 64.Comment
