Hi,
I'm WinNiix, my nickname obviously, im here to learn more about software things, well overall i'm a computer specialist, but mostly my job is about assembling computers, cleaning (and of course re-doing thermal paste application) on bunch of PC's, laptops, AiO systems, but not only that, pretty much i have a little talent to diagnose dead motherboards and repair them if that's worth it (Soldering.. etc)
Happy to be here and learning more of software-side stuff .

Some personal stuff
I’m a retired software engineer from the West Country of England. Since retiring I’ve filled my time with: playing and building guitars, cycling. Working for charity (with a bunch of likeminded people at Men in Sheds organisation).

I love tinkering with stuff and have a shed where I freeze in winter and sweat in the summer but manage to fix stuff with a little help from YouTube and nouse.

lately I’ve been turning my hand to fixing guitar amps for the charity I visit to entertain - they get musical instruments donated, I fix them and sell them to make money for the charity.

I currently working on improving my understanding of electronics and that’s why I’m here with the hope one day I might be half as knowledgeable as you guys.

Be gentle with me- I am bound to ask newbi dumb questions
