I just found this forum and it is a great day!

I am a recovering computer programmer, network administrator, systems analyst, whatever. I was supposed to finish a college degree in Electrical Engineering but I got distracted by neural networks and fake artificial-intelligence systems. That was 30 years ago, and it is weird to see all the crazy around "Machine Learning" these days. I guess I'm an ML Hipster.

So, I started helping people with busted phones. Then I started rebuilding laptops. Then I put together a big iMac. Then I got interested in identifying bad components on the boards.

So it's time for me to dig into hardware a bit more. Decades overdue. But hey, now this junk is everywhere, for free! And we have YouTube, and local clubs, and it's just like old times in college again.

Hello, my name is Francisco and I come from south Spain. My first computer was a ZX Spectrum 128K +2A and later I enjoyed some consoles like Sega Megadrive. Now I've come back to them and I enjoy repairing these devices.

One of my Megadrives misses some sounds so I looking for information I found this forum. I also want to repair a solid state amplifier, I think this site is a good source of knowledge.

Hello my name is Andres, I'm from Spain.
I love messing up with Bioses, from RAM SPDs to regular PC/Laptops bios. Same for graphics cards.

I love sites like this one. I haven't been able to discover it before though. I own Asus laptops and until just recently I was a member of the website VOLTGROUND, which unfortunately went down forever with all the posts and info.

So I am happy to become a member of this HUGE site (I noticed), and post and get info from it.

I do need help, so I won't lie. That's why I am here, but I am not a spammer nor do I intend to abuse the site.
