      HiHi everyone,

I'm Mark from Cebu, Philippines. I'm new here in the community, and I'm excited to be part of this forum for technicians. I'm passionate about technology and repairs, and I joined to both share what I know and learn from the experiences of others.

I'm looking forward to exchanging ideas, gaining new skills, and connecting with fellow technicians. Thank you in advance for the warm welcome!

I recently joined this forum after coming across a few really helpful threads while searching for answers about a dead laptop board. I’ve been fixing electronics for a while now — mostly out of necessity at first, but now it's definitely a passion (or maybe an obsession. I joined this place to share what I’ve learned and learn what I haven’t. I’m hoping to contribute where I can, especially with schematic tracing, power rail issues, and component ID. But I’m also here to get better — particularly at advanced diagnostics, PMIC repair, BIOS stuff, and maybe reverse engineering a bit

A little about me… I’ve always been curious about how things work, especially when they don’t. I started small — broken toys, burnt power adapters, and eventually worked my way up to phones, monitors, and motherboards. These days, I'm deep into board-level repair: tracing faults, replacing tiny SMD components, and trying to understand the logic of circuits that refuse to cooperate.

Hello. I'm Carlos from Colombia; I was born here and have lived here my entire life. I'm a technician and have been doing this for most of my life. I don't know much about anything, but I'm dedicated to everything. I have a postgraduate degree in computer systems technology; that's where I got started in electrical troubleshooting, something I'm still not proficient at. I like solving problems and fixing things myself, from hardware to software. My interests include computers, history, science, nature, camping, and hanging out with my friends on our motorcycles.

Hello! My online name is Treecko (yes, based off the Pokémon), and I am here to get a kickstart into delving deep into GPU repair. For the decade I have tinkered with many electronics, mostly consisting of game console, controller, or peripheral repair. As early as I can remember, my first repair was a simple battery swap on a copy of Pokémon Gold Version! Ever since, I have done GBA modding, GameCube controller mods, and retro console modding to get my way through the COVID boredom. After a few years of wanting to broaden my horizons, I joined a team of repair technicians in my area that tackled modern console and computer repair, mostly consisting of PS5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch repair. I spent a solid few years improving my soldering skills to successfully change out ports, IC's, connectors, and several other components, but now my next goal is to master GPU repair as I find it to be great challenge!
