I first found this forum when I was trying to flash my BIOS. I sometimes buy electrical devices overseas, some models are not sold in my country. I really like these devices, so when they have some problems, I search online for ways to fix them. I'm a newbie about computer, but I think I can learn a lot from this platform.

Hello -

New poster here. I joined for the "Dell Latitude 7400 Bios Password" bios unlocking threads. I just got a ch341a to try to solve this problem. Still grinding it out, but I plan to analyze ALL the bad => good binaries for a pattern to solve mine.

I have been an embedded programmer since 1989 but I haven't done bios recovery/flashing until just recently. Just trying to save that old crap from the gaping maw of the trash bin, .

My name is Mathieu, I’m 35 years old and I’m what you might call a curious jack-of-all-trades. I’m still a beginner in many areas, but I’m super enthusiastic about electronics, electricity, and all kinds of DIY repairs.

I love taking things apart, soldering (or trying to 😅), testing, failing… and trying again. I don’t have any formal training, but I’m always learning by doing — whether it’s repairing a motherboard, flashing a BIOS chip, or figuring out how a circuit actually works.
