Hi everyone,
just a quick introduction:
I'm currently doing my apprenticeship at an IT company in Germany. From time to time, we receive broken PCs or laptops that we can't sell to customers. I'm usually the one assigned to dispose of them – but instead of throwing them away, I often keep them and try to repair or revive them as a hobby in my free time.
I'm still fairly inexperienced, but I try my best to improve and learn something from every problem I tackle.
I signed up for this forum to seek help, expand my knowledge, and – hopefully – contribute and help others with my own experience in the future.
Looking forward to learning from you all!

Just realised I have been a member since 2018 and not done the intro post! Sorry.
I have been repairing computers in the UK for about 20 years but only recently in the last couple of years tentatively ventured out into board repair.
BadCaps has been an amazing resource the few times I've needed a schematic or board view. Thank you all who contribute. It is appreciated.
Cheers, JulianComment

As I'm posting here you might understand that I'm now to this forum.
My primary interest is in repairing hand held consoles that I usually buy broken from Ebay.
Since this forum is full of useful information I decided to create an account.
Kind regards, RanzbakComment

Greetings members,
My name is Mahlatse; I am 23 years old, and I am from South Africa (country, not geographical location). I am a tech enthusiast. I am currently studying mechatronics engineering. I am currently involved in multiple companies as a founder and co-founder. One of them being an electronics repair business, I enjoy seeing damaged or old electronics be brought back to their former glory. I am here to learn to be a better repairman and find some resources for schematics on specific devices.
Fun fact: I have been using a computer since I was 4 years old and started tinkering with them by the age of 10.Comment
