Hello! My name is Hunter, I own a repair shop in Asheville North Carolina. We do some board repair and vintage electronics repair. We used to use badcaps quite often, but it seems my account expired at some point and was locked down so I made a new one! Thank you everyone.Comment

Hey all!
I fell down a rabbit hole trying to figure out how to make use of all the old electronics I've amassed over the years and that brought me here. I'm stoked to dig into this hobby and hopefully avoid electrocuting myself 😅Comment

Hi everyone,
I'm from Brazil and recently started my own small repair shop, mainly focused on electronics like motherboards, power supplies, and laptops. I've been learning a lot through hands-on experience, and forums like this have been a big help along the way. I decided it was time to join and be part of the community.
Looking forward to learning more, asking a few questions when I get stuck, and maybe even helping others as I improve.

Hi everyone,
I'm Brian from Indonesia. I'm currently learning about laptop motherboard repair, especially BIOS and firmware recovery using tools like CH341A. Right now I'm working on an ASUS A516JAO and trying to find the correct BIOS .bin file for flashing.
I joined this forum to gain knowledge, share experiences, and learn from the amazing experts here. I appreciate any guidance or tips!
Looking forward to contributing and growing together.
Best regards,Comment

Hi! I'm a middle aged software engineer with a passion for tinkering around with hardware. I started taking apart all kinds of electronic devices as soon as i could hold a screwdriver, to the despair of my parents. I always wanted to know what makes it tick, and i still do. So these days i like looking at schematics and attempt the occasional repair for family and friends.Comment

Hi, I'm a new member, I used to be a old fashioned TV repair man back in the 90's, shifted into graphic's automation for the last 20 years or so and sunsequently forgotten most of my theory.
I've recently started to revisit repairing as a hobby, mostly games consoles and laptops, this forum has already helped me get my head around removing the bios lock on a machine.
