Hello everyone, I'm Bush. I'm a hobbist of computers and electronic stuffs. I have experience of repairing laptops back to the 2000s. I think it was a vintage 486 laptop. But the components are getting much smaller in computer nowadays. So I want to look for help and discuss in this form.

Hello everyone and glad to be here! Being playing with flashing BIOSes about 15 years ago to recover from issues when still there weren't integrated (USB) recovery methods. Now it's more about avoiding eWaste and mostly bringing old laptops back to life (and providing them to non-profits for a symbolic price). I sometimes find some good ones and keet them for personal use.
I bought this month a Lenovo X13 Gen1 with Ryzen 5 PRO 4650U, 16GB and FHD screen (no SSD/battery) for less than 50€ and it give no signs of life except for all power working. Given he number of time I bricked BIOSes this looked like exactly being a BIOS problem: badcaps was the only place where I could find a clean BIOS image which I flashed and.... laptop back to life.
Long story short: thank you!

Buenas le cuento que me gusta la eletronica desde niño siempre me ha gustado la electrónica de niño me he puesto a desarmar cosas de esas nuevas televisores y la fui aprendiendo poco a poco la últimamente ya tengo 56 años y ya reparo muchas cosas reparo computadora reparo televisores reparo teléfono pero siempre me gustó esto y ahora que tengo esta edad de 56 años me ha gustado más y es un trabajo más más discreto para mí pues más sencillo ya no tengo que salir a la calle ni buscar sino que todo lo hago aquí en mi casa y es un placer estar en este grupo con ustedes sé que aquí hay mucho conocimiento hay mucho que a lo mejor saben mucho mucho más que yo pero bueno me gusta me gustaría conocerlos a todos y poder aprender algo más de ustedes Gracias por este grupo
