Hi everyone! New to this forum, hoping to have a great time with y'all. Can call me Axl or Axe or Lazer, whatever is easier for you.
I've been working with PCs for about 7ish years now but I still have a lot to learn and a lot of gear to get.
My name is Megresh, and I'm excited to be part of this community. I've always enjoyed understanding how things work and bringing broken devices back to life. I started with basic electronics and small household repairs, and over time, I've gotten more into computer hardware, smartphones, and even some appliance repairs.
I'm here to learn, share what I can, and hopefully help others solve their repair challenges. I believe that fixing instead of replacing is not only satisfying but also a small but meaningful way to reduce waste.
Looking forward to connecting with fellow repair enthusiasts and learning from your experience!
Camilo here. 45yo Audio Mastering Engineer from Colombia. My background in electronics is primarily in analog audio electronics and open-reel tape machines. As a tech, I've worked on everything from vintage Neve consoles to my Ampex ATR102 tape machine. But I'm gradually learning about microsoldering and board-level repairs for computers, laptops, video cards, and similar devices. It seems I've come to the right place! I'm also a Hackintosh enthusiast and use both macOS (at work) and Windows (at home and for gaming).

Required - only way to find valid information that is not standard in user manuals despite being needed and obviously done to limit customers being able and fixing their own hardware
