Currently I have an MSI KT6V MS-7021 Ver 1 with 3-4 bad caps but no leaks and it is functional. And I have ordered a NOS Antec SP-500 with 5V rail @ 36A and 3.3v rail @ 30A and 2 - 12v rails @ 17A and 19A coming by next week... It all restarted with a 60USD case minus a PSU filled with 2000-2006 parts as it has an Nvidia 7300GT AGP card from about 2006 MB and CPU 2004 and one optical drive and a 40GB HDD, both from a 2000 Compaq PC. i have built my own PC's since 2001 and before that I did HDD and GFX card upgrades to my first PC, a prebuilt Slot A 700Mhz...

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Names S. Emanuel Patty, 43 yo, married, I have 1 daughter who is still in high school
I am interested in PC/laptop repair starting from cellphone repair. It's just that now cellphone PCB boards are getting thinner, too hot so they bend.
I learned to repair cellphones, PCs, laptops, drones, and others autodidactically.
Education majoring in computer engineering and informatics. Worked longer at an internet service provider. Chose to resign from work and this is where I now work to fix anything

Hello everyone,
My name is Jason Carter, and I'm an electronics technician currently working with Fasobrico, a company based in Burkina Faso that specializes in maintenance and repair services.
I have hands-on experience with a wide range of electronic systems, including power supplies, motherboards, industrial equipment, and computer hardware. I'm particularly interested in troubleshooting, circuit analysis, and restoring faulty devices to working condition.
I joined this forum to:- connect with fellow electronics enthusiasts and professionals,
- stay updated on the latest components and techniques,
- and exchange ideas and solutions for the challenges I encounter in the field.
Looking forward to learning from you all and contributing wherever I can!
Cheers!

Hello Badcaps
My name is Robert I live in Mooresville N.C.Im just a old timer tinker. This Is the first time I have been on a forum since the 90s when i used BBS.hold on I take That back I did sign up on a couple a long time ago but I quickly left because of people being rude. By the way love the rules on this forum I have watched Badcaps for awhile and wanted to ask some questions about some things I have been working on but as I read some of the posts. you guys are so far advanced than me but i thought i would give it a try. sorry i drift off the subject. I was always intrigued on how things function back when i was little in the 70s. I could go on but the forum rules on the introduction said to keep it short. but anyway I hope I can learn alot from you guys and maybe help with mine and nice meeting you guys I hope I did everything correctly just bear with me if i make a mistake and post in a different place.

Hi everyone! I'm Mila, a software and hardware engineer from the Netherlands.
My main focus is software development, but I also enjoy working on side projects involving microcontrollers like the ATmega, ESP32, ESP8266, and similar platforms. I love experimenting with computer networks, containers, and related tech.
I'm here to get some help with a project I'm working on β a cluster built from HP Mini PCs. Looking forward to learning and sharing with you all!
