I suppose I started around the age of 10 on a PackardBell Computer with a 486 processor, I spent a lot of time playing games on it but my passion was in understanding how the hardware works so I got a degree in electrical engineering and was hired by Intel before I graduated. Currently I work for a much smaller and quieter company repairing anything they put in front of me.

I avoided many times to try and fix bios issues. It looks that I have to learn about that so here I am. In the resource section of this forum there are plenty materials
(for members only) so like a simple newbie I will start there and I hope to be a good student.

My name is Héctor from Dominican Republic. The first time I used a computer was back in 1997. I really liked it, and from that moment on, I fell in love with everything related to it.

Now, I want to deepen my knowledge in repairing electronic devices—such as replacing ICs, fixing short circuits, and similar tasks.

I created an account on this forum because I saw that there are many people here with a lot of experience, and there's also very relevant information being shared that aligns with the goals I want to achieve.

                  See you around the forum!
