Good evening (here in Venezuela) I am an electronics technician. I repair PCBs in air conditioners and washing machines. What I like most is repairing motherboards in laptops and PCs. The same thing happens to me. I have had to delve deeper into software since there are more software damages than physical damages. I hope to provide solutions to the best of my knowledge.

Hello World,
I would like to participate in this forum!
I am about to repair for the first time a GPU, a GTX 750 Ti. I replaced shorted high side mosfets twice, but the mosfets keep failing if the 12V line has more than 10V and 500mA. So I suspect that the mosfet driver needs to be replaced as well. Otherwise I can't see much else that could be wrong. There are no other shorts it seems. Although next to the mosfets there is a 3 pin transistor / diode (?) that I desoldered next to the mosfets, of which two pins connect to 12V. The third pin connects to the fan header via an inductor. I guess its not important as long as nothing is connected to the fan header. I can't see anything obvious conncting to those 12V pads of that transistor/diode other than the 12V rail. Resistance of 3.3V and 12V to ground is very high when the shorted mosfets are replaced. Resistance of gpu to ground is 10 Ohms and ram to ground is 100 Ohms. I hope I can find a replacement for the mosfet driver. Wish me luck
Best, Jon
