Hello World.
I am just joining the forum, and slightly confused about where to type my introduction as it is not really a "Reply" I like fiddling with vintage Computers more than modern ones, the proper ones with IC sockets and huge exploding Tantalums. I have never tried replacing SMD devices but have recently been given an Apple A1181 it seems to be poorly and will not switch on. I am in the process of obtaining a 16.5V 60W Magsafe 1 psu. and I was looking for a Schematic for it when I came across this forum. Now I am bit usless at these things and usually type things in the wrong place like I am doing rnow. If anyone can help me find a Schematic for my Apple A1181 it would be great, My HP Pavilion g series laptop that I rescued from a recycling bin is also acting up now. When I brought it home the Keyboard was not working but I sorted that by simply cleaning the end of the ribbon cable/ IDC socket it was also password protected and I sorted that by using the Utilman.exe method. It has Windows 10 and NO Battery installed. Problem now is that it has just started making lots of beeps on Power on but when the beeping is done it still works ok. but it never did this before but has not been used for a few months. I thought it might have been something to do with the BIOS Password as this was being asked for when the beeping starts.pressing keys did nothing, when beeps stop I enter Password and it boots up. I have now removed the BIOS Password protection but it still has an episode of beeping. .Never had this trpouble with a Nascom.
End C3 FF FF
