Hello, I have been in the electronics repair industry for officially 8 years. Starting out with mostly mobile devices and moving on from there to just about anything with a battery or buttons. Before repair I started out in tech working for Dell building enterprise equipment like servers and imaging them. My career in repair started in a franchise place I will keep to myself out of embarrassment for the reputation it has gained for itself over the years. I did however get access to learn alot about industry leading manufactures like Samsung, Apple, HP, DJI, and other partnered companies. Wanting to grow my knowledge I invested in myself and bought soldering equipment to start fixing mostly game consoles, but eventually phones, laptops, audio equipment, etc. I tried college a few times but I just can't learn that way. One of the reasons I am glad to have found this site. I find that the less formal the learning the easier it is for someone to make mistakes, which is where the real learning starts. There seems to be a wealth of knowledge here so I hope to gain but also contribute just as much.Comment
