I'm from Geneva, about 55ish, trained as a watchmaker, but I don't do that professionally anymore—just as a hobby. These days, I have an office job, which gives me time to keep up with my passion for fixing things, especially vintage stuff. I've always been into watches, but recently, I've discovered a strong interest in electronics—mainly audio/hi-fi gear and old game consoles.

I'm pretty new to electronics, but I'm eager to learn. I've got the basics down—I know (or think I know) what the main components are, what they do, how they can fail, and roughly how to test them. Lately, I've been digging into schematics and just trying to absorb as much as I can.

I'm here to learn, ask questions, and hopefully, one day, be able to answer some too. I can be a bit hesitant at first (worried about asking dumb newbie questions), but once I feel at home, I open up.
