Any TV LED'S compatible with each other?

As I'm looking online for replacement led's I'm finding certain Samsung models or sizes are harder to come by. I always thought if the TV size is within 5 inches and its the same type (Backlight vs edge light) and brand it should work. Is this correct? I'm working on a un75ru7100 which is a back lit 4k tv and I want to know if the backlights from a broken un70nu6900 which is also a 4k tv would be compatible.

I also have a broken LG 65 inch 1080p tv that I want to know if I could use the backlights to repair a LG 60 inch 1080p.

Also, would backlights thats for a 4k tv work on a 1080 tv thats the same brand and size? Or is that just nonsense

As long as they are same voltage and same number of led's on each line.
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

Problems is the lenses have to line up with the reflector sheet. So technically it’s possible, but most likely won’t work without extra work. Easier to buy the right strips if possible.

Corsair K70 LUX RGB dying LEDs
            by Pipolups
            Hi there !

I'm having an issue for several weeks with my quite old K70 LUX RGB keyboard. I haven't used it for few months, and once I setup up again my desktop computer, I got several dead LEDs on that keyboard. I tried the Corsair troubleshooting thing (disabling options in iCUE, ...) but nothing changed so I conclude that for some reason some LEDs went in retirement...😅
Decision taken to change these LEDs as I have access to desoldering iron and binocular magnifier, I wrote a ticket to tech support, hopping to obtain the LEDs reference and... They refused to tell me 🙄...

Samsung UE48H6410 replaced Mainboard but backlights doesnt go on
            by max789
Hello, I have a problem with my Samsung UE48H6410SSXZG with the main board BN41-02156A and the power board BN44-00709A. Everything seemed like this, the TV could no longer be switched on, the standby LED always flashed 5x2 times. Backlight was off and no sound from TV. Also made the flashlight test and there was no picture.

            I made the following tests:
            1. Disconnected the main board from Power Board = backlight works.
            2. Connected the main board and disconnected the T-Con = backlights does not work.

So I ordered a main board from Ebay also BN41-02156A but from...

            VIZIO M557-G0: Backlights or ???
            by bpcannan
            'Morning,
I get sound and picture when powering on the TV and its stays that EXCEPT that the left half of the screen will dim every few seconds then return to normal while the right side of the screen performs as designed.

Did the soft and hard reset options pulling the plug, using the reet option in the vizio menu to no avail.

I checked the mainboard - found some popped capacitors so replaced it - but that did not change the situation.

I checked the t-con board. It is getting good power. Then I removed one ribbon cable to see if I could isolate...

Samsung UE49MU6400 acts dead until disconnecting backlights, then works.
            by jesterace
Hi everyone I have this TV which was dead one day when I tried to turn it on. I've had the cover off and there was just a pulsating/electrical clicking/ticking noise from the PSU. I disconnected the mainboard as sometimes this works to just fire it up with backlights on? That didn't help. Same noise. Then I disconnected the backlight cable from the PSU and the TV came alive. It appeared to respond to the remote and i'm pretty sure it's fully operational when there is no backlight connected.

However, I am in a dilemma.

I tested the backlight outputs with the lights disconnected...

Dell G15 5515 RGB Keyboard Not Detected (Compatible Keyboard, Possible BIOS/EC Issue?)
            by NotEnough
            Hi everyone,

I'm working on a Dell G15 5515 (Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3050 Ti) and recently installed a compatible 4-zone RGB keyboard and controller (for Dell G15 5510/5511/5515 models). While the keyboard functions for typing, the RGB lighting is not detected by Alienware Command Center (AWCC), which displays “No AlienFX devices found.”

            What I've Tried So Far:
            • Reseated the cables.
            • Reinstalled AWCC and AlienFX services.
            • Attempted BIOS downgrade but no improvement.
            • Inspected ribbon cables for damage.
            • Explored the possibility of BIOS or
