W1400 BENQ project help

Hi all

This is my next challenge .

Has a PSU issue , but cannot even start , as top cover won't come off .

Have removed all screws , but cannot seem to pull lens shift control off , so that i can remove top cover .

Don't want to force too much & break it .

Anyone experienced this ?

I have the same problem with a Benq W1400. I am not able to remove the vertical lens-shift screw.

EDIT: LoL, just found out myself: There is small black plastic plate on top of the black plastic wheel. I removed it by accident when trying things. Anyways, inside the center of the wheel is a small metal screw. After removing it, you can lift the top panel.

Now onto the PSU issues .

IC602 ( TOP256YN ) , blown apart .
