HItachi 55" panel has reddish tint

I've read that CCFLs can have a reddish tint when they are going bad. Is there any other cause for a redish tint when the screen works fine otherwise?

The screen is about 3yrs old.

Anyone know the pricing on CCFLs for a 55" panel, and where I can get them?

I don't have more info yet. I'm thinking of buying it from someone who just wants to get rid of it and I'm trying to determine how hard it's going to be to fix and what a fair price would be to offer.
