Re: Sony KD65X85005C, no boot, hdmi IC suspected

In your second picture on the right bottom corner there is a 4 pins unpopulated connector, that is almost surely a serial port, make a picture of that area only, but anyway 1 pin is gnd, at the side, the other side is 5v output, if your adapter doesn't need it dont connect it, the center 2 pins are tx , rx, you must probe at tv start which one has a tension, that is tx and must be connected to rx of adapter. Then set the port at 112500 and open terminal in pc, start tv and watch characters come in, if them are readable, speed is ok if not change speed to a lower. Found the log , turn off tv, set the terminal to record the text, start tv again until it stops sending, then close the file , turn off and upload here the txt file.

Yes CN8004, pins are 5 but 2 are gnd. The programmer is ok, must be know how to set in serial mode, yellow jumper go to pins 2-3 i think.

yes, 2-3 is TTL serial. Tomorrow will check it... Big reputation, thank you

On pin X measured 144mV, on pin Y is 157mV. Is it must be correct?

What is pin X? You have two pins to measure, one is tx from where you can see data sent by the microprocessor, the other is for receive so it must be free from potential i think, unless there is a pullup, anyway this test is not so useful, you can simply swap the wires if you don't see data in.. but keep in mind some brands like Samsung needs the port to be activated for debug but this is enabled via service menu and you don't have access to that..

You need to install zero resistances or jumpers.

been unlucky, maybe debugging must be turn on via service menu. Soldered jumpers between, after double checked the curcuits, but no voltage on both.

Other way to check the nand is JTAG, while don't want to buy an expensive emmc reader. I just found this tutorial, but on the programmer what i have, it has no CMD, LSP BV and D0 pins. Am i wrong?

Here is the JTAG points down below

It's not NAND, you have an EMMC.

Can you show us a photo of the jumpers?

Curcuits ok and pins not shorted.

GND tooked from one of the 4 big square pin directly from board. Is it false? (looks like the pins take from there too)

Guys we are wrong, found a schematics. Thats a blind miniUSB port. Under the link is the schematics from site 184-187 if somebody else need it. I will chech it.

did'nt success... Soldered the MB tx to programmer rx, but no data. Checked few rates also and curcuits are ok. putty correct so?

Try to find on the main board a chip of approximately 14pins , sometimes it is marked GD75xxx, or MAX2323, or search its datasheet, it can be a level shifter that adapts internal low volt to a standard 12v uart, in this case a pc with RS232 port or an usb adapter is needed.
