Hey.
I am trying to repair a Magnavox 32" LCD TV. When I turn it on the backlights flash on for about a tenth of a second. I opened up the panel and checked the backlights. One was broken and I replaced it. However, nothing changed and I believe I may have broken the backlight while trying to open the lcd. I have checked the inverter board for power and the ON signal. It has both, as well as 5v at the inverter ic VCC pin. All of the transformers seem to check out fine, 2 bars on a flyback tester. However, one transformer has a slightly higher resistance (1.78k instead of 1.35k) in one secondary winding. Any suggestions as to what to do next?
Thanks.
Ps. I get an interesting result if I unplug one set of backlights from the board and then turn on the tv. The backlights stay on for about 1 sec instead of a tenth.
