I have a Panasonic TC-60PS34 60" plasma, built 5/2011. Periodically getting white screen (like looking through cheesecloth), with sound, when turning on. Turn off and on a few times and it finally works normally. Tried cleaning back, changing cables and inputs, unplugging unit, etc. Seems to be happening more often and harder to get it to work. I did notice that it usually clicks when turned on (red light comes on, no flashing) and clicks when I turn it off. When I turn it on and get a white screen, I notice that it does not click. When it does click when I turn it on, it seems to work normally. Any help would be appreciated.

by AlicatHello,
Stopped by this site trying to fix my parents Panasonic Plasma TV.
Model number is TH-50PZ85U
Power comes on and the red power light stays on solid.
Did a few checks like hold the power button on for 60 seconds, hold the - Volume while holding the menu button, no luck, still@ blank grey screen as the screen lights up very vague.
I also hear a few clicks.
I also think my parents said there was a thunderstorm and the TV failed after that.
Section 6 in the service manual talks about power and no screen,...10-30-2024, 10:09 AM -
by Zelek11My Panasonic Plasma model P55VT50 has started displaying "interference" on just the left half of the screen only (left when facing the screen). Sometimes it's concentrated in about the first 30 seconds after startup, then disappears. Other times it's fine at startup and then randomly does it later on. When it flashes the interference it's very quick and doesn't stay on the screen unless it flashes repeatedly in a row.
This image is a screen shot from a video I took. This is an example of the interference at its worst. Often the interference is much smaller...10-14-2022, 04:54 PM -

I hope someone on this forum can assist me.
I have a panasonic TH-42PC77U plasma television.
the lower 1/2 of the screen has become flaky....in and out, then finally goes black and you can only see the top portion.
i have performed the reset to default settings quite a few times. Panasonic recommended..did not believe this would help...it didn't.
I have removed the back panel and looked around for something obvious...burn marks in a board, etc....nothing obvious...
I have read some posts that suggest the problem is related to the boards on the left... -
by Ryan.manHello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... -
by hugocarmoHi.
I´ve been given an old CRT from Panasonic, it´s almost new, it was storaged and almost not used since bought.
It is imaculate inside, almost no dust or debris inside.
The picture is good, but I have no left sound channel, I tried all the inputs, outputs, even on headphone jack. In AV2 I hear sound from right channel but no image, on tv tuner only right sound channel, the same for AV1.
So I started to look for a service manual, I found one, and started from the beginning.
Most of the times the caps are the problem so I orderer all the caps for all boards,... - Loading...
