I haven't had one with that problem lately but would heat it, just to confirm that it was the issue, that's after testing about everything else and was pretty sure that was the problem, best fix is to send the board to someone who will reball or replace the chip I suppose.

Quit because THIS SITE LETS A ROGUE MEMBER TYPE ANY GARBAGE HE PLEASES AND THE POWERS THAT BE NEVER DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT SO HE NEVER QUITS. THEN YOU GET A PENALTY FOR RESPONDING TO HIS ATTACKS. BEEN GOING ON FOR WAY TOO LONG. DONE SUPPORTING A SITE THAT ALLOWS THIS BS.

where someone was saying to heat at 350C ? (exactly for this bga chip)
      What is that about?
350c will be the numbers on the display of the hot air station, its not the temperature at the board which will be lower.
I have my hot air set to about 380c for rework.
In order to reduce thermal shock the whole board needs heating to around 100c before adding extra heat to the processor area to carry out the reflow. Whilst I use a proper rework station the advice of holding the board over a gas stove for preheating is sage.

        Problem LG 49UB850V (Mainboard: EAX65684604 / EBT62954607)
        by Malva
        Hi everyone,
I'm trying to repair my LG 49UB850V TV (WebOS 1.0, UHD model from 2014).
        Mainboard model: EAX65684604
        PCB marking: EBT62954607
SPI chip: Winbond W25X20CLNIG Problem description:

Originally, the TV would turn on (backlight and LED OK if I force them on), but it shut down as soon as any input was received from the IR sensor or remote. The backlight and power board were working fine.

After testing and verifying the voltages (DRY ON, PWR ON, 12V/24V rails), I suspected a corrupted SPI firmware. What I tried so far:

Mainboard problem Laptop Lenovo Ideapad 3 15ada05
        by micsa84
        Hello! I have a problem with a mainboard from a Lenovo Ideapad 3 15ada05.
The problem is that the cooling fan is always on full speed, It doesn't recognize the battery and it is not charging it and the keyboard has only partial functionality, many of the keys don't work.
I tried a new bios update but that didn't changed anything.
What could be the problem with it?

un60j620dafxza - Samsung No Display Problem
        by stylishconsultant
        Hi All,

        Need help.

I have a samsung un60j620dafxza led tv. When I plug it in it has no display, no sounds, and no standby lights.

So I opened the tv and disconnected the power to the mainboard and the backlight powered up. This according to many people says that this is a mainboard
problem. I checked the voltage coming from the stb and I read 1.3 volts on pins 1,3,5 and 7 which are low volts instead of 13 volts which i think the lcd panel
might be drawing too much power from the power supply that it prevents the right voltage going to the mainboard....
