    Panasonic 55VT50 12 red Blinks

    Hello!

I have a 55VT50 that turned off and started blinking 12 times. I unplugged the speakers from the A board and turned it back on and everything worked great.

Few years go by and now the TV will randomly turn off after about an hour and will blink 12 times. I went into the service menu to check any issues but I don't know what any of it is or if it shows any issues. Here are some pics.

I'm assuming I will need to replace and fix the A board but wanted to check here first. Any help or guidance is appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Panasonic 55VT50 12 red Blinks

I'm not 100% sure about this but,
    SOS: 0C
0C hexadecimal is 12 decimal, so I think it refers to the error code which ties in with the blink code you see on the front led.
Found this regarding blink codes but do not know if it's applicable to your model.

Panasonic TV Blink Codes for All Panasonic Models

Panasonic Plasma TVs have a built in circuit for fault diagnostics. If a fault occurs on one of the internal
circuits, the firmware in the TV will detect it and output an error in the form of a blinking LED lite.
The exact error is represented by the number of blinks in each series of blinks. By using this fault error code,
you can diagnose the problem with the TV without even opening it.
First, be sure you are counting the blinks correctly – it is very important to correctly diagnosing the problem.
To do that, turn the TV OFF, and then back on and count the number of times the LED blinks.
Repeat the process to confirm, and then look up the error code on the table below. This will very quickly diagnose
the problem and tell you what board needs to be replaced or repaired.

1blink STV 5v sense DG Board
    2blinks 15v SOS D Board
    3blinks 3.3v SOS D Board

panasonic TX-P50V10E 6 blink led problem
      by Vebririon
      Hi everyone,

I'm new here and trying to repair my Panasonic TX-P50V10E plasma TV, which is currently showing the 6 red blink error code.

Just for context: I'm used to building PCs and installing modchips in old consoles, but this is my first time trying to fix a TV. I'm French, and while my English is okay, I'm using ChatGPT to help translate and clarify my messages as much as possible β€” so please forgive any odd phrasing.

I'm also not very experienced with using a multimeter, but I'm very motivated and ready to follow instructions carefully and report...

      Panasonic CF-20 Track pad issues
      by HKS00
      Hello Everyone,

My name is Haris and, I am new to the forum. I would appreciate any help I can get.

Little back story on me and the issues that we are dealing with...
I work on a fleet that uses Panasonic CF-20s we have about 65 of them. Up until the beginning of the year they all had warranty so all the repairs were covered. Fast-forward to now and all of the units are out of warranty and it can't be extended past this point. We don't have the budget this year to replace them, so we will be stuck trying to fix any issues that may come up.

      Panasonic plasma TX-P42ST50 - 6 blinks
      by jm1234
      Hi,
anyone able to provide the service manual for old plasma Panasonic TX-P42ST50E?
It turns off almost immediately (0~5 seconds after pressing the on/off button) and starts flashing the red diode 6 times.
I disconnected the left-hand side board (SC?, both the ribbon cable and the power cable to it) and also another ribbon going to bottom left board. Then the led signal is 8 flashes. According to service guide to another Panasonic plasma it would mean the left-hand side board is faulty. But I'm not sure it 100% applies to my model.
I checked that board for any obvious faults...

Panasonic TC-P55ST50 8 blinks then no blinks
      by Andre Gilbert
Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing hereπŸ€”?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting πŸ˜‚.

Panasonic Plasma TH-50PZ85U No screen No blinks on red power light
      by Alicat
      Hello,

Stopped by this site trying to fix my parents Panasonic Plasma TV.

      Model number is TH-50PZ85U

Power comes on and the red power light stays on solid.

Did a few checks like hold the power button on for 60 seconds, hold the - Volume while holding the menu button, no luck, still@ blank grey screen as the screen lights up very vague.

I also hear a few clicks.

I also think my parents said there was a thunderstorm and the TV failed after that.

Section 6 in the service manual talks about power and no screen,...
