Re: Sharp LC-70LE745U no backligth no image

The main board think is good i tested on another 60inch set and it works fine, so i discarted that the main has a problem it is between the power supply or led problem or wire harness...may be t-con board, but has nothing related with this kind of problem.

Try unhook wifi and bluetooth if equiped, then try tv see if any difference, if no then unhook ir board and see if it will work with buttons on tv if it has them.

I wonder if the set is suffering from a short circuit capacitor(s) on the panel strip that the tcon ribbons connect to. This has been found as one possible problem when the set powers up with one tcon cable disconnected.
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

so does that mean, you now addressed the problem and the tv is fully functional OR that you now think / know that there is a problem which causes only half the display to function? IF there is still a problem (half display), then you may have an issue on the side tabs OR as suggested, a problem with SMD components of the bottom edge boards that you left disconnected.
Carefully check the side tabs to ensure you didn't re-install the panel such that they have been damaged / "misaligned". You can also do another test. On the side that was disconnected, look at the corner of the panel. There is a small ribbon cable that interconnects the bottom edge board to the side edge board. It is unclampable / unpluggable. Connect up all tcon to panel cables but disconnect that corner cable. Does the tv startup and display a "full picture"? Go from the result.

Yep, check those little MLCC caps on the driver boards, see if any have low ohms, they usually read over 100 ohms when ok.
