Good morning,
I have a perfect 2010 Panasonic TC-P46S2 FHD plasma TV, short only a working A board.
1) Got hard to turn on, requiring unplugging and waiting 30s.
2) Currently on clicking the power button, relay click for about 4s, then clicks off. One slow constant red blink (3s?)
I interpret that as a failed A board, however the TNPH0831AB is unfortunately completely out of stock everywhere and has been for years.
DMM'ing about seems to show the power supplies as good, the power supplies on the board OK and no shorted SMT ceramics or blown electrolytic caps.
There are a lot of other variants of the TNPH0831 about, and I am planning to get one of the TC-P50S2 variants (larger screen, same panel and feature set).
Looks like its identical from the service manuals except for the EEPROM + FLASH chips. I can solder them across.
Any advice? I found this thread already which suggests this method from tw2005 here:
