Samsung UN60EH6050F > No display T-Con Fixed > Now blocky Pixels

Hi all. So I have a TV here I have been working on. The original issue was no display only sound. I then replaced a voltage regulator on the T-con board.

    IC number ISL98602IRAAZ Location IC7100 T-con model number: BN41-01815A

Anyway after replacing I get picture and all looks fine other than its pixelated in an odd way I haven't seen before (I work on allot of electronics but am a novice when it comes to TV's in particular).

I have checked all the tabs along the panel and checked all the ribbons.

This is the odd thing I have found though, when I un-plug then re-plug the LVDS ribbon cable while the TV is powered on the distortion goes away. The display will then flicker and start going on and off and doing all sorts of weird stuff but for the first 10-15 seconds everything looks perfect.

So now I am at a loss as what to check next. I assume I should check output voltages but TBQH I don't like being that close to live AC or high voltage caps. I've been shocked too many times But I will if I have to.

Pictures of board repair and artifacts / pixelation? attached.

Thanks for reading my novel even if you can't help. Much love to everyone who donates their time.

Well I ordered a new t-con so we will see if that changes anything. In the meantime I will reseat the regulator IC and maybe reball the other chips on the tcon which I have no idea what they do lol.

try heating (hair dryer) or freezing (can of air upside down) some IC's on the TCon.

No change with that method. I'll try reflowing a few chips on the board to see if anything changes.

usually tcon's are cheap to come by.

look closely at the cables (and seating) between the tcon and main board.
