    Sharp Aquos lc-70le64ou display issue

Hi there. I have a 70” Sharp Aquos that only shows 2 parts of the screen. I have attached a picture that shows the issue.

Thanks for the information. From what I’ve read in the information you provided it seems that my issue is the LCD panel. So its toast Unless anyone else has a viable solution.

you need to do some testing and reading. The likely problem is with the bottom edge boards and smd components therein. IF you are "inclined" as other people that want to save the large screen, you may be able to replace the faulty component with some careful soldering work. It is likely that a smd capacitor has been shorted.

I have literally been all over this tv. I've replaced transistors, voltage regulators, capacitors and checked it over and over etc etc. It's now in parts and the boards are going up for sale, the rest to the metal recycler.

i don't know what is the meaning of coming here so late only to celebrate the death of a big important tv...
maybe there was only a problem in interconnections of panel's border's boards.
