Toshiba 50l7300u, looking for advice. Thank you

Kp here, so I was out to hang a tv on the wall for a customer two days ago. I arrive and there is already a tv on the wall and a new one in a box. I hung the tv for the customer and she asked me to take the old one away. I gladly took it away for her.
Long story short I thought fixing it would be a cool father and son project. I have been scouring BadCaps trying to find answers, I have found a lot of good posts and furthered my knowledge.
So about the TV, I plug it in and it is in an on state immediately. A solid green light on the front of the TV. It previously had a black screen, a flashlight test revealed no display. I was testing voltages and determined the BLON signal voltage was low. I disconnected the PWM DIM circuit and I now have backlights.
I still have no display, and the power button on the set and remote neither one seem to work. I have downloaded firmware and installed files directly to the root of a USB drive installed the USB drive and plugged in the set, nothing seems to happen.
SO I have a still unrepaired television and I'm not sure what to test next. Any and all guidance would be appreciated. I look forward to hear your responses and resolving these issues.
