The Led on the mainboard is flashing 3 times repeatedly, I can't find any info on this, I assume its a diagnostic light but I can't find a list of codes. Also when I disconnect the top left communications cable on the tcon board I get black and white vertical lines on the screen. Here is the link to my album for the tv.

Good Day everyone,
Kp here, so I was out to hang a tv on the wall for a customer two days ago. I arrive and there is already a tv on the wall and a new one in a box. I hung the tv for the customer and she asked me to take the old one away. I gladly took it away for her.
Long story short I thought fixing it would be a cool father and son project. I have been scouring BadCaps trying to find answers, I have found a lot of good posts and furthered my knowledge.
So about the TV, I plug it in and it is in an on state immediately. A solid green light on the front... -

My name is KP, I am a tinkerer. Anyhow, I fix things professionally for a living, usually, house or appliance related. Ever since I was a boy I was tearing things apart and trying to figure out how they work. So what lead me here?
