    Panasonic plasma TX-P50GT60 , blinking 6 times.

    Hi guys ,

It's been a while since i repaired a tv. The Panasonic's are getting rare....

Picked up a defective GT60 that was completely dead. There was no 5v standby at P6 so i knew it was a bad powersupply. ( 5v should go to the mainboard , mainboard turns on 15v etc ).
Replaced that because the previous owner soldered on area's that made absolutely no sense at all so i couldnt bother repairing the board.

After replacing the powerboard i got 7 blinks which pointed me in the scboard/bufferboard area. Checked the buffers and they are fine.
So this brings me to the scboard and i found 4 shorted 30F132/RJP30H2A.

I replaced those 4 and now the tv is blinking 6 times which means the Driver SOS1 (SC Energy recovery circuit) (A-SC FPC DET) has a problem. The green led wont light up and i cant find any other shorts.

Can someone help me a bit? This is probably the same fault as on the 30 series with the 8 legged IC. ( IC501 ).
I could replace the scboard and sell the tv but this is more fun.

The service manual is attached and the scboard is on page 39. Im suspecting IC16522 and/or Q16452 because they are in the recovery area.

    Thanks guys!

Did you manage to solve the issue? or did you just replace the SC board.

I have the same model, used a SC jig to seperate the fault from the SU/SD boards.

    Any information would be great.
